Terms of Service

Last updated 18 September 2026

Plain summary. You license the software, monthly or annually. We keep it working and keep your data private. Neither side is locked in: you can leave with your data, we can decline to renew. Nothing below contradicts this paragraph; if it seems to, tell us and we will fix the wording.

1 · Who this is between

These terms are between Call2KOT and the business named on the invoice. They cover the software, the hosted service where you use it, and support. By signing in, you accept them. If you are accepting on behalf of a company, you are confirming you may do so.

2 · What you may do with it

We grant a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to run Call2KOT for your own outlets for as long as the licence is paid. You may run it on your own hardware. You may not resell it, sublicense it, or run it for outlets that are not yours without a separate agreement.

3 · What you may not do

  • Use it to take orders from people who have not been told they are speaking to an AI.
  • Turn off the disclosure in the greeting. The software will not let you, and working around it is a breach of these terms as well as of the law in most places.
  • Send marketing to people who did not ask for it, or who asked you to stop.
  • Attempt to extract the models, resell the outputs as a service, or reverse-engineer beyond what local law permits.

4 · Payment

Invoices are issued for the billing period and due within the terms on the invoice, normally fourteen days. Prices are in AED and exclude VAT unless stated.

If an invoice goes unpaid, the licence enters a fourteen-day grace period during which everything keeps working and we contact you. After that the licence stops renewing. Your data is not deleted when a licence lapses, and we will export it for you on request for at least ninety days afterwards.

5 · Renewal and cancellation

Licences renew for the same period unless either side gives notice before the end of the current term. Thirty days' notice for an annual licence, seven for a monthly one. Notice by email to billing@call2kot.com is enough; we will not require a phone call or a form.

We do not refund the unused part of a period you have already paid for, except where we have failed to provide the service. We are not going to argue about that if we have.

6 · What we commit to

Where you run itWhat we commit to
Your own server Updates, security fixes and support. Uptime is yours, because the machine is yours.
Hosted by us 99.5% monthly uptime, excluding scheduled maintenance we tell you about in advance. If we miss it, you get a pro-rata credit for the affected days on request.

We will give at least thirty days' notice before removing a feature you rely on, and we will not change how the approval step works without telling you first.

7 · Your data

It stays yours. We claim no ownership of your menus, orders, customers or transcripts, and we do not use them to train models. Where we process on your behalf, the Data Processing Addendum applies and takes precedence over this section if the two disagree.

You can export everything at any time from within the software. If the export does not cover something you need, ask and we will get it for you.

8 · The AI, honestly

The software drafts orders from speech. It will sometimes get one wrong. That is why every order is shown to your staff with a countdown before it goes to the kitchen, and why the window is configurable down to requiring a tap on every order.

You are responsible for the orders your staff let through, in the same way you are responsible for an order a member of staff wrote down by hand. We are responsible for the software behaving as described.

9 · Liability

Neither side is liable to the other for indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability in any twelve-month period is limited to what you paid us in that period.

Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

10 · Ending it

Either side may end this by giving the notice in section 5. Either side may end it immediately if the other commits a material breach and does not fix it within thirty days of being told.

On termination: your licence stops, we export your data on request, and we delete it after ninety days unless you ask us sooner. Sections 7, 9 and 11 survive.

11 · Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and the courts of Dubai have jurisdiction. If you are contracting from elsewhere and need a different forum, ask before you sign rather than after.

12 · Changes

We will email you at least thirty days before any material change takes effect. If you do not accept it, you may end the licence at the next renewal without penalty.
